Results for the week of March 8-11

The Wednesday, March 8 Darsha sponsored 18-hole BBS was won by Zayhied Suliman on 39 pts on a count-out over Muzapher Allie on the same score. Third was Phillip Maritz with 38 pts.

The Thursday. March 9 KWV sponsored 9-hole IPS with power play options was won by Dee Kidson with 27 pts with hubby Ian 2nd on 24 pts and Johan Herselman 3rd on 21 pts on a count-out over many others.

The Friday, March 10 Flamingo sponsored Niner was won by Donald Witbooi on 20 pts with Bernie Turton 2nd on 19 pts on count-out over Greg Jones and C Gordon 3rd and 4th respectively.

The Kimberley Amateur Open over 36 holes Medal format was played on Saturday March 11. The A division Gross winner and champion was Joshua Edwards with an excellent score of 136 (8 under par). Second was Burger Hekroodt on 138 with Nico Jacobs 3rd on 142. The B Division was won by Dries Mostert on 160 with Neil Langley 2nd. The C Division IPS was won by Donal Witbooi with 78 pts and K Wood 2nd on 73 pts.

Players please note that you must putt out in a competition else your score will not count and that your score card must be correctly filled in.

Friday, March 17: The Sun Flamingo sponsored 9-hole IPS.

Saturday, March 18: The KGC Club Championships over 36 holes with A, B and C Divisions.

Sunday, March 19: Social golf with special rates applying

Monday, March 20: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, March 21: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, March 22: The John Dorys sponsored 18-hole IPS.

Thursday, March 23: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, March 24: The Sun Flamingo sponsored 9-hole IPS.

Saturday, March 25: Club competition as well as the Charlies vs Club 16 competition.

Sunday, March 26: Social golf with special rates applying.
