The Kimberley Dragon Darts Club is all set for an exciting weekend of darts action in Claremont, Cape Town. They’ll be competing in two thrilling tournaments: the Africa Continental Tournament (ACT) on Saturday and the World Cup Qualifier on Sunday in what promises to be a spectacle for dart fans!

Keep an eye on Clinton Pillay, the club’s standout player, ranked seventh out of 70 competitors in last month’s Johannesburg ACT. He’s got a good shot at making it to the Grand Finals next month in Cape Town.

Pillay’s been in fantastic form, even though he narrowly lost in the quarter-finals last month. Fans are hoping he’ll keep up the momentum and secure that coveted spot in the Grand Finals.

But in darts, surprises are the name of the game. Dean Naude, Bradley Pillay, and Clinton Pillay are all ones to watch. Robbie Thomas and Brian Isaacs could shake things up too. It’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster as these talented players battle it out.

Adding to the excitement, we’ve got a veteran in the mix – Eddie Pillay. He’s been a dart legend for years and has decided this tournament will be his last away from home.

Starting his dart journey with his father, Eddie has made a huge impact on the sport. As he takes a step back to focus on his health, this tournament will be a special moment for him and his fans.

The action starts on Saturday with the ACT Tournament, promising fierce competition and top-notch darts. Then, on Sunday, it’s knockout time, and the winner will represent South Africa in the World Cup in England this December.

Dart fans from all over are excited about the Dragon Darts Club’s journey to the Western Cape. With a mix of pros and rising stars, this weekend promises to be a darts extravaganza that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
