THE NON-profit organisation Woman of Wisdom (WoW) will be hosting a women’s empowerment session, titled ‘Be You(tiful)’, in Kimberley this week, where experts from different fields will address and build up women.

The event, which promises to be fun-packed and empowering, will be hosted at the Kimberley City Hall on Thursday, October 12, starting at 9am.

The session will roll out WoW’s objective of promoting spiritual, social, physical, emotional, relational, economic and mental stability.

The NPO was established in 2010 and registered in September 2011 with a vision to impact women from all walks of life.

The co-founder of WoW, Tinyiko Dwane, explained that they further encourage women and young people to learn from each other by sharing their experiences and empowering and uplifting each other.

The event will see medical practitioner Dr Su-Ritha Wessels take the delegates through women’s health issues.

The organisers saw it fitting to include the medical field in the event since it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The event will also see advocate Laverene Accom address the delegates on the many legal challenges that women face, where they are often misinformed and face the prospect of making the wrong decisions.

Moleboheng Mofokeng, a leading business owner specialising in network marketing, and Nique Robinson, who is a local image consultant, will also address those in attendance.

Another key speaker will be Mam Khoza, a pastor and international speaker who is a mind transformation or paradigm shift expert.

The guests will be entertained by Yanga Sobetwa, the 2018 Idols winner, who will be visiting the Northern Cape for the first time.

Tickets for the session are on sale for R100 per person, which includes food and a fashion show.

Those interested in buying tickets can contact Tshepi on 060 539 9446 and 065 841 9823.
