Results for the week of August 30 to 2 September 2 are:

The Wednesday, August 30 Hussar Grill sponsored 18-hole IPS competition was won by Jacques Gouws with 39pts. Second was Frankie de Nobrega on 38pts and 3rd Gavin Schafer with 37pts on a count-out.

The Thursday, August 31 KWV sponsored 9-hole IPS with power play options was won by Shane Arthur with23pts (more wine) with Sarel van Rensburg 2nd on 22pts on a count-out over 3rd placed H Adikary with the same points.

The Friday, September 1 Flamingo Niner was won by Gavin Williams with 21pts. Second was Helena Janse on 16pts with husband Jaco 3rd on 14pts. Fourth was Greg Jones on 13pts.

The Saturday, September 2 Club sponsored BBS 18-hole competition was won by the team of I Kathree and S Thomas on 47pts with Danie Liebenberg and Phillip Maritz 2nd on 44pts on a count-out over Eddie Malouly and Neville Parker with the same score.

A large contingent of 20 Saturday Charlies travelled to Magersfontein to take on the Magersfontein Voetpad team. The Charlies lost by 30pts but are still ahead on averages following their win in the first round. The Charlies now get to pick their home course KGC for the final round.

The Sealing Solutions Sunday league standings with one round left are as follows: Rising Stars 73, Golf Shop 72, MVD 71, CPAC 60, Sealing Solutions 48, Terminators 45, Motley Crew 37, Dirty Birdies 34. It is going to be a tight finish.

Players please keep our course tidy. Don’t discard bottles, paper etc. – There are rubbish bins at every tee-off. Please pick up as you go. Let us not have the course looking like the filthy city of Kimberley.

Saturday, September 9: Club sponsored 18-hole IPS, the monthly Seniors BBS and the weekly Charlies outings.

Sunday, September 10: Social golf with special rates applying.

Monday, September 11: Course closed but office open for business

Tuesday, September 12: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, September 13: DARSHA sponsored 18-hole IPS.

Thursday, September 14: GBADS Golf Day. Closed corporate day

Friday, September 15: FARMERS CUP Golf Day. Closed corporate day.

Saturday, September 16: KGC sponsored 18-hole IPS and the weekly Charlies outing. Seniors play in Graaff Reinet

Sunday, September 17: Social golf with special rates applying. Seniors play in Graaff Reinet.
