Results for the week of February 15-18 are:

The previous week’s golf was washed out by rain.

The Wednesday, February 15 OBC Chicken sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Joshua Edwards with 40 pts. Second was Barend Burger on a 36 pts count-out over Gavin van Zyl with the same score.

The Thursday, February 16 KWV sponsored 9-hole IPS with power play options was won by Keith Brown with 22 pts on a count-out over Braam Botes with the same score with Kevin Wakeford 3rd with 18 pts.

The Friday, February 17 ELCON School Golf Day was excellently organised by the New Vaal Motors team and a substantial amount was raised for this worthy cause. The format was a 4-ball Alliance Scramble Drive with the 2 best scores to count.

First was the team of M Arthur, N Langley, N Parker and E Malouly on 105 pts. Second was the team of DJ Fourie, R Wolmarans, W Botha and B Botha on 98 pts. Third was the Team of W Liebenberg, J Liebenberg, F Morrison and W Wepener on 97 pts. Fourth was A Kori, P Maritz, D Liebenberg and J Edwards on 95 pts. Fifth on a count-out on 92 pts was N Alexander, L Wilkinson, R Mulke and PG Welthagen. Sixth on the same score were R Joseph, P Mashabao, Roberto and M Kidson.

The Saturday, February 18 Windhoek Pairs was won by Zughdi Adikary and Muzapher Allie on 48 pts with Barend Burger and Conrad de Beer beaten by John and Joanie Herselman on 42 pts.

Players please note that you must putt out in a competition else your score will not count, and that your score card must be correctly filled in.

Friday, February 24: Sun Flamingo Niner.

Saturday, February 25: The Northern Cape Open. NOTE that the course will be closed this Saturday

Sunday, February 26: Second leg of the Northern Cape Open. The course will be open for Social golf with special rates applying from 1.30pm.

Monday, February 27: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, February 28: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, March 1: The Konica Minolta sponsored 18-hole BBS competition

Thursday, March 2: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, March 3: The Ekapa Mine golf day, 9 holes from 1pm.

Saturday, March 4: The Beefmaster sponsored 18-hole IPS as well as the NC Seniors Championship 18-hole IPS.

Sunday, March 5: The second round of the NC Seniors Championships.

Monday, March 6: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, March 7: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, March 8: The Darsha sponsored 18-hole IPS.

Thursday, March 9: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, March 10: The Sun Flamingo sponsored 9-hole IPS.

Saturday, March 11: The Northern Cape Amateur Open over 36 holes.
