IN AN EXCITING rugby match played at the AR Abass Stadium in Kimberley, Universal RFC came out on top with a 27-21 victory over Douglas rugby club.

The game was evenly matched in the first half with both teams displaying their attacking prowess. However, it was Douglas who drew first blood by scoring the first try of the game with their strong attack.

Universals responded quickly with a try of their own directly afterwards, showing their resilience and determination. The game then turned into a tough on-field tussle, with Universals having another opportunity for a try but falling just short of the try line.
