Tricia’s success at the Pharaohs Cup was a true reflection of her immense talent. Her flawless routines, characterised by breathtaking leaps, intricate dance movements, and impeccable synchronisation, captivated both the judges and spectators alike.

The second-place finish served as a springboard for her upcoming international ventures, fueling her determination to achieve even greater heights on the global stage.

Speaking to the DFA Tricia said that this competition is one of the biggest she has ever attended. “I am a bit nervous but mostly excited to experience a competition of this magnitude,” Tricia shared with enthusiasm.

She said that though she put in a lot of effort, what made the difference for her was the support she receives. “I have put in lots of hard work over the past few years, especially in the weeks leading up to this competition. I sacrifice a lot for my sport, but the support I receive from my friends and family really helps me a lot, and I am grateful to them. My coach and I have worked hard and long, so I will do my best on the day and focus on making myself and my family proud.”

With confidence in her abilities, Tricia added, “I feel ready for this competition and know I can do better than I have at previous competitions. I am very thankful and grateful for everything I have and will continue to receive.”

Tricia’s achievements not only bring personal glory but also serve as an inspiration for aspiring gymnasts across the region. Her success story serves as a reminder that dreams can be realised through hard work, perseverance, and unwavering determination.

Tricia and her coach, Tazmiah Francis, also made a point of saying a big thank you to all the sponsors who made it possible for her to be able to attend events of this magnitude.

“We are really very appreciative to every sponsor who donated in any shape or form. Without you, our families, and our friends who joined hands in assisting us, this would not be possible. All we can say is thank you, thank you,” said Tazmiah.
