The Northern Cape Heat will be competing in Cricket South Africa’s T20 knockout competition over three days this weekend in East London starting with a match on Friday in the coastal city.

The Northern Cape Heat will be competing in Cricket South Africa’s T20 knockout competition over three days this weekend in East London starting with a match on Friday in the coastal city.

In a late afternoon post on Thursday, NC Heat announced their full squad for the 2022/23 season. The team also announced that they have opted for Ernest Kemm to captain the squad.

“The squad has worked hard and it will be great to see them get onto the field and test themselves against some of the best in the country,” Mark Charlton, head coach of the NC Heat is quoted in the post.

NC Heat team: Ernest Kemm, CP Klijnhans, Gerhardt Abraham’s, Bafana Mahlangu, Rivaldo Moonsamy, Grant Thomson,Kelly Smuts, Romano Terblanche, Juan Landsberg, Jerome Xaba, Tshepo Ntuli, Andrew Rasemene, Kagisho Mohale, Jason Oakes, Benjamin Van Rensburg, Johan Van Dyk.

The coaching team: Mark Charlton (head coach), Deon Carolus (assistant coach), Storm Clark (strength and conditioning coach) and Esther Bhengu (Physiotherapist).
