The spirited players from the Northern Cape have made an impressive show of it, with father-and-son duo of Lappies and Charl Labuschagne, showcasing remarkable prowess by clinching victories in four out of their five sectional games.

Although they narrowly missed out on advancing to the knockout rounds, their formidable performance showed the high standard they had set for the competition.

Adding to the Northern Cape’s triumph, Barry Minopetros and Robbie Robinson exhibited sheer determination by securing their section with a thrilling victory over the section leaders. Their resilience propelled them into the knockout stages, where they triumphed in their first game, thereby securing a spot in the last 34.

Joining them in this esteemed group are Driaan van Niekerk and Cecil Bornmann, whose stellar performances ensured victory in their section and subsequent play-off game, propelling them into the last 34 as well.
