Kimberley hockey clubs ready to represent city in Windy City

Both Kimberley teams will be competing in the A section of the tournament, alongside some of the most formidable teams from Gqeberha, East London, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.

KIMBERLEY will be well represented at the highly-anticipated Easter Hockey Tournament taking place in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) from April 7-9.

The Saints Men’s team will travel down to the coast, as will the William Pescod hockey club, for what is shaping up to be an exciting weekend of competition. You can bet that the Kimberley sides will be participating with high hopes of bringing home the championship trophy.

Both Kimberley teams will be competing in the A section of the tournament, alongside some of the most formidable teams from Gqeberha, East London, Johannesburg, and Cape Town. Needless to say, it is expected to be a fiercely contested tournament, with 12 teams battling it out in Section A alone.

This year, a total of 31 teams consisting of men and women will do battle in two sections.

However, Saints are not intimidated; they have been training hard and are ready to showcase their talent and determination on the field. The team boasts a strong line-up of skilled players.

Fans and supporters of the Saints hockey club will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on the tournament as it unfolds. With their team in top form and ready to take on the best of the best, there is no doubt that the Easter hockey tournament will be memorable for players and spectators alike.
