The Boy’s High School senior soccer team are eagerly anticipating the prestigious Absa Wildeklawer tournament. Leading the charge for the Under-19 team is captain Bongi Nkosi Alexander.

Reflecting on their previous experiences, Bongi admitted to the DFA that their initial foray into the Wildeklawer tournament didn’t yield the desired results. However, with renewed determination and a talented roster this year, the team is poised to make a statement on the soccer field.

Bongi highlights the presence of quality players and the team’s growing confidence and experience as key factors in their preparation.Drawing from lessons learned, particularly regarding the pressure of competing at the Wildeklawer, Bongi emphasised the importance of resilience and unity within the team.
