Fighters gear up for weekend boxing bonanza

New Champions Boxing Academy will, in collaboration with Platinum Boxing Club and Fitness, host an open boxing tournament in Kimberley on Saturday, November 26 at Ekapa mine’s Health and Occupational centre starting at 12.30pm.

Brad Delport, co-tournament organiser along with Ryan Clarke of Platinum Boxing Gym and Fitness, said the tournament will feature several participating boxing clubs from out of town as well as another province.

Delport listed the New Champions Boxing Academy, Platinum Boxing Gym and Fitness, Home Defenders Boxing Club, Babontse Boxing Club, Tsantsabane Boxing Club from Postmasburg and Legacy Boxing Club from Bloemfontein.

The prices for entry tickets will be R20 for students and R30 for adults.
