JOHANNESBURG – The University of South Africa (Unisa) has called on its prospective students and other stakeholders not to fall for scams.

This comes after the university noted with serious concern a fake enrolment poster, claiming to be from the institution, and circulating on public platforms.

The poster in question recruits or lures unsuspecting victims into a qualification enrolment scam.

“Unisa calls on its prospective students and other stakeholders not to fall for such scams. The poster does not come from the university. It is FAKE news,” Unisa said.

The university encouraged students and other university stakeholders to directly communicate with the university at 0800 001870 or [email protected].
