THE UPINGTON police have requested the public’s assistance in locating a missing man, John Connet van der Byl, 38, from Louisvaleweg, who is reported to be mentally disturbed.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Omphile Masegela said Van der Byl was last seen by his cousin in Louisvaleweg on December 10 last year. He was wearing blue jeans and a brown long-sleeved check shirt.
Any person who has information that can assist in locating Van der Byl is urged to contact the investigating officer, Captain Christa Kruger, on 076 022 3528.
