The Roodepan police arrested 15 wanted suspects at their homes during a tracing operation on Monday.

THE ROODEPAN police arrested 15 wanted suspects at their homes during a tracing operation on Monday.

Police spokesperson Captain Sergio Kock said the operation formed part of the Safer Festive Season drive.

“The suspects, including 14 men and one woman, were wanted on charges varying from assault GBH, robbery, theft, contravention of protection orders and housebreaking,” said Kock.

He explained that the Roodepan detectives searched several premises and arrested unsuspecting wanted suspects in Roodepan and surrounding areas.

“The suspects will appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court soon,” said Kock.
