The national Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, in collaboration with the Northern Cape provincial government, will launch Reconciliation Month at the Tol Speelman community hall in Upington on Thursday.

THE NATIONAL Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, in collaboration with the Northern Cape provincial government, will launch Reconciliation Month at the Tol Speelman community hall in Upington on Thursday.

The programme includes a wreath-laying ceremony at the Upington 26 monument in Paballelo in remembrance of the “gallant freedom fighters”.

The spokesperson for the national Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, Madimetja Moleba, said that the calendar of all activities for the rest of the month would be outlined during the launch.

“The 2021 Reconciliation Month will be launched to promote the 25th anniversary of the Constitution,” said Moleba.
