Police seek missing 12-year-old girl

The Galeshewe police have requested the public’s assistance in locating a missing 12-year-old girl from Lerato Park.

THE GALESHEWE police have requested the public’s assistance in locating a missing 12-year-old girl, Botshelo Precious Mothibi, from Lerato Park.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock said Botshelo was last seen on Thursday, March 2 at 6.30am, when she left her home in Lerato Park, Roodepan for school at Mankurwane Primary School in Galeshewe.

Kock said she was wearing her school uniform.

Anyone with information that can assist the police can contact Detective Warrant Officer Lesego Oliphant from the Galeshewe Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit on 084 812 1071.

Alternatively, members of the community are urged to contact their nearest police station or utilise the MySAPS app.

The public is reminded that there is no waiting period to report a person missing.
