VICTIM empowerment centres based at 27 police stations in the Pixley ka Seme District received essential items and gifts from the acting provincial head of inspectorate in the Northern Cape, Brigadier Pinkie Tusi, on Tuesday.

Police spokesperson Captain Thabo Litabe said the items would be used in the victim-friendly rooms.

“The event was attended by a number of senior officers in the Province, including Brigadier Tusi, the provincial head of internal audits, Brigadier Moreki, and the acting district commander of the Pixley ka Seme District, Brigadier Adonis, as well as other police officials from the district and the provincial office,” said Litabe.
