NC girls bring home six crowns from Miss Teen Universe SA pageant

The Northern Cape’s pageantry legacy continued to shine brightly as six young girls proudly secured six different titles at the Miss Teen Universe South Africa 2024 pageant held in Durban.

THE NORTHERN Cape’s legacy continued to shine brightly as six young girls proudly secured six different titles at the Miss Teen Universe South Africa 2024 pageant held in Durban on March 24.

The unforgettable and glamorous event was hosted at Sun International’s Zulu Theatre.

On a splendid evening, Mishka Boughan was crowned as Kimberley’s second Miss Pre-Teen Universe South Africa.

Her performance at the pageant radiated charm and elegance, captivating both judges and spectators alike.

Mishka’s 2024 coronation was not only a personal triumph but also a continuation of the Northern Cape’s legacy at the pageant. She gracefully assumed the pre-teen crown from the reigning Little Mini Universo, Manqoba Vilakazi, who also hails from Kimberley.

Manqoba had previously been crowned Miss Pre-Teen Universe South Africa 2023, further enriching the Province’s illustrious history in pageantry.

Lizaan Thembu was meanwhile crowned Miss Pre-Teen Mundial South Africa after she captivated the audience with her poise and grace.

Her elegance left an indelible impression and the title bestowed upon her stands as a testament to both her beauty and intelligence, both elegantly showcased on the grand stage.

Oratile Louw claimed the title of Miss Teen International South Africa, demonstrating not only confidence and sophistication, but also embodying grace and style as she enchanted the judges.

Sisonke Martiens earned the well-deserved title of Miss Petite Mundial by capturing hearts with her distinctive charm and poised demeanour, leaving the judges and audience entranced.

Peo Gaosenkwe was crowned Miss Teen Universe South Africa Northern Cape. Her beauty and grace set her apart as the provincial winner, securing the title and making her a proud representative of her region.

Moruo Botsime contributed to the Province’s success by winning the title of Miss Pre-Teen Universe South Africa Northern Cape.

Her talent and charm shone brightly on the national stage, distinguishing her as a remarkable representative.

After a night of crowning successes, the beauty event holds the promise of an enduring legacy, one that will hopefully inspire generations of Northern Cape pageant contestants to come.

The event showcased the beauty, glamour, grace and talent of young women from across the Province and nation. These remarkable individuals were applauded for leaving an indelible mark on the pageant world, reaping the rewards through various titles.

Their achievements also extended beyond the personal realm, illuminating the rich diversity and talent within the Northern Cape.

Their success stands as a beacon for aspiring young women across the Province and country, demonstrating that dedication, hard work and perseverance can lead to greatness.

The winners will now prepare to represent South Africa at various international pageants later this year, further solidifying their status as ambassadors of beauty and grace on the global stage.
