THE Frances Baard Task Team confiscated dagga with an estimated street value of R30,000 from a male suspect at Dingaan hostel in Galeshewe on Friday.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Sergio Kock said the team followed up on information and found the dagga stashed in bags inside the kitchen.

The dagga weighs approximately 10kg.

“The suspect should be appearing in the Galeshewe Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of dealing in dagga,” said Kock.

The Frances Baard District (FBD) Commissioner, Major General Johan Bean commended the FBD Task Team for their good work that led to this outstanding arrest.
