A 40-YEAR-old man was arrested by Deben SAPS members for theft on January 19, at about 11.20pm, after he was found transporting suspected stolen bags of cement on the back of a bakkie.

Northern Cape police spokesperson Captain Mosimaneotsile Letsapa said that a farm owner saw a white double-cab Isuzu bakkie with bags of cement on the back and stopped the vehicle and informed the police immediately.
