Mills said he never imagined that he would get away with the prize and only participated in the competition to win other smaller prizes.
A KIMBERLEY resident, Lyle Mills walked away with R100,000 cash prize after winning in the Vodacom Shake competition.
Mills said he never imagined that he would get away with the price and only participated in the competition to win other smaller prizes.
I am very excited and surprised by this. There are some other prizes up for grabs when one shakes daily, and that was what I was aiming for,” Mills joked.
He said he will invest his winnings and spoil his parents with a portion of it.
I own a business, so I will invest the majority of the money into my business. I will also give some to my parents and my church,” he said.
Mills said he will continue to participate in the competition.
“I am a shaker and will continue to see what other prizes I can get,” he laughed.
