THE GALESHEWE police are urgently requesting the assistance of the public in locating a 17-year-old girl from 20422 Chris Hani Park who was reported missing by her grandmother on September 7.

Police spokesperson Colonel Mashay Gamieldien said that Ithabaleng Alice Matlhadi was last seen with her friend at the taxi rank on September 4 in Kimberley where she made a phone call from her friend’s cellphone.

“She told her friend that she was going to Botshabelo. An unknown male picked her up in a white vehicle, unknown model with a NC registration, that was apparently travelling to Botshabelo.”

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is requested to contact the investigating officer, detective warrant officer Du Plessis on 082 495 4605.

“It must be reported immediately after a person has gone missing.”
