“They just want to go out there and play their best and make their family, friends and the community proud on the day.”

The Momentum Friendship Games return to the Galeshewe Township in Kimberley for the fourth match of the 2019/20 season as the Yorkshire Regional Performance Centre (RPC) prepares to take on Northern Cape High School today.

The T20 clash will start at 2pm this afternoon at the Yorkshire Cricket Ground.

The Friendship Games includes nine matches taking place across the country, where traditional cricketing schools compete against players from CSA’s RPC and Hub (development) structures.

“The team is very excited for this year’s Momentum Friendship match,” Yorkshire RPC coach, Elton Tsamaisi said.

“The vibe in the team has been great, with some of the players set to play in front of cameras and a lot of people for the first time, so it’s a good thing for them as well.
