Results for the week of October 11-21 are:

The Wednesday, October 11 Darsha sponsored 18-hole IPS competition was won by Jacques Gouws with 36pts on a count-out over William Wepener and Faried Richards, 2nd and 3rd respectively and all on the same points.

The Thursday, October 12 KWV-sponsored Niner with power play options was won by Braam Botes with 14pts. Second was Keith Brown on 12pts with Johan Herselman 3rd on 10pts.

The Friday, October 13 Flamingo Niner was won by Donald Witbooi on 20pts with H Adikary 2nd on 19pts on a count-out over 3rd placed Gavin Williams also on 19pts. Fourth was Sadick Thomas on 17pts.

The Saturday, October 14 Club sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Ghalid Norman on 43pts with Barrie van Zyl Jnr 2nd on 42pts and Cedric Ross 3rd on a count-out with 38pts.

The weekly Saturday Charlies outing was won by young Barrie van Zyl with a superb 42pt score. The monthly Seniors BBS outing was won by Doc Doherty and Kevin Wakeford while Willie Delport took the individual prize.

The results for the Barney Barnato golf completion played from October 18-21 are as follows:

Day One, sponsored by Weird Industries was won by Ivan Coetzee (42pts), 2nd Shane Cross (41), 3rd Shane Arthur (39), 4th Lutchman Poonawassy (38), 5th Stefan le Roux (38), 6th Peter Salo (37) and 7th Kareem Anderson (37).

Day Two, sponsored by Heineken was won by Shane Cross (44), 2nd Eddie Malouly (40), 3rd Zayhied Suliman (39), 4th Susan Alexander (39), 5th Gail Aysen (39), 7th Riaan Dippenaar (39).

Day Three, sponsored by SA Breweries was won by R Stander (42), 2nd Dries Mostert (40), 3rd Jacques Beukes (40), 4th Jade Paton (39), 5th Francois Schwartz (39), 6th Gamiet Aysen (38), 7th Gail Aysen (38).

Day Four, sponsored by the Flamingo Casino was won by Clive Korope (43), 2nd Shane Cross (41), 3rd Andries Kori (40), 4th Zughdi Adikary (35h Pete Salo (39), 6th Cedric vd Ross (39), T Stander (39).

Day Five, sponsored by New Vaal Motors was won by L Johaar (42), 2nd Helena Janse (40), 3rd Jacques Gouws (40), 4th M Sethare (39), 5th W King (38), 6th W Petersen (38), 7th Faried Richards (38).

The Order of Merit Winners were – Men: Shane Cross from Cape Town and Ladies: Carmen Rivett from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Saturday, October 28: KGC sponsored 18-hole IPS, St Patrick’s Presbyterian Church Day and the weekly Charlies outing.

Sunday, October 29: Social golf with special rates applying.

Monday, October 30: Course closed but office open for business.

Tuesday, October 31: Social Golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, November 1: Konica Minolta sponsored BBS 18 holes

Thursday, November 2: KWV sponsored Niner with power play options.

Friday, November 3: MVD Construction Golf Day

Saturday, November 4: Club BBS, weekly Charlies outing and the monthly Seniors outing
