Kimberley Golf Club results for the week of November 29 to December 2 and a look ahead to the period of December 8 to 16

Results for the week of November 29 to December 2 are:

The Wednesday, November 29 John Dory’s sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Duncan Changfoot on 37pts on a count-out over 2nd placed Pete van Zyl also with 37pts. Third was Phillip Maritz on 36pts.

The Thursday, November 30 KWV sponsored Niner with power play options was won by Andre Williams on 26pts with Braam Botes 2nd on 25pts and Keith Brown 3rd on 22pts.

The Friday, December 1 Flamingo sponsored Niner was won by Jaco Janse on 19pts on a count-out over Parks Mashabao also on 19pts with Zayhied Suliman 3rd on 18pts. Andries Kori was 4th also on 18pts.

The Saturday, December 2 Club sponsored BBS was won by Kyle Moon and Pieter Buckle with 45pts on a count-out over Jock Robey and Pat Ansley also on 45pts. Third was Faried Richards and Bernie Turton on 44pts. Jock and Pat also took the Charlies competition.

Please note that the visitor fee for 18 holes has been reduced to R350. Except for corporate and other special days.

The following is planned for the week of December 8 to 16:

Friday, December 8: Flamingo Niner.

Saturday, December 9: Club IPS, the weekly Charlies outing and the Seniors / Ladies outing.

Sunday, December 10: Social golf with special rates applying.

Monday, December 11: Course closed but office open for business.

Tuesday, December 12: Social golf with special rates applying

Wednesday, December 13: Darsha 18-hole IPS.

Thursday, December 14: KWV Niner.

Friday, December 15: Flamingo Niner.

Saturday, December 16: Club 18-hole BBS, Charlies outing.

Please note that the Club will be hollow tining the greens from Monday, December 11 to Wednesday, December 13. Details re opening and closing of the course will be shared in due time.
