Results for the week of 18 to 21 January 18-21, and what is planned for February 27 to March 11

Results for the week of 18 to 21 January 18-21 are:

The Wednesday, January 18 OBC Chicken sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Neville Alexander with 40 pts. Fred Wyngaardt was 2nd on 39 pts with Jason Barnes 3rd on a count-out with 37 pts.

The Thursday, January 19 KWV sponsored 9-hole IPS with power play options was won by Johan Herselman on 27 pts with Neil Langley 2nd on 26pts and Zayhied Sulliman 3rd on a count-out with 23 pts.

The Friday, January 20 Flamingo Sun 9-hole IPS was won by Gavin Williams on 20 pts with Donald Witbooi 2nd on 17 pts and Kevin Antill 3rd on 16 pts.

The Saturday, January 21 Jan Club sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Sadick Thomas with 42 pts on a count-out over Gaalid Norman also on 42 pts with Andries Kori 3rd on 41 pts also on a count-out.

The Saturday Charlies outing was won by Jacques Gouws on 39 pts who then magnanimously donated the cake (not the money) to 2nd placed Dries Mostert.

The following is planned for February 27 to March 11

Players please note that you must putt out in a competition else your score will not count and that your score card must be correctly filled in.

Saturday, January 28: First round of the Windhoek Pairs BBS over 18 holes. Also the weekly Charlies outing.

Sunday, January 29: Social golf with special rates applying.

Monday, January 30: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, January 31: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, February 1: The Darsha sponsored 18-hole IPS competition.

Thursday, February 2: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, February 3: The Sun Flamingo Niner.

Saturday, February 4: The Diamantveld School Diamond Cup BBS over 18 holes. Also the weekly Charlies outing.

Sunday, February 5: Social golf with special rates applying.

Monday, February 6: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, February 7: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, February 8: The Beefmaster sponsored 18-hole IPS.

Thursday, February 9: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, February 10: The Sun Flamingo Niner.

Saturday, February 11: The Second round of the Windhoek Pairs BBS over 18 holes as well as the weekly Charlies outing and the monthly Seniors outing. The Seniors will have their AGM following the prize giving.
