Kimberley Golf Club results for the week of February 22-26 and the next few week’s programme.

Results for the week of February 22-26 are:

The Wednesday, February 22 John Dorys sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Barend Burger on 38 pts with Joshua Edwards 2nd on 36 pts and Harry Welham 3rd on 35 pts.

The Thursday, February 23 KWV sponsored 9-hole IPS with power play options was won by Braam Botes on 27 pts with André Williams 2nd on 26 pts and Johan Herselman 3rd on 25 pts.

The Friday, February 24 Sun Flamingo sponsored Niner was won by William Wepener on 19 pts with Shane Arthur 2nd on a count-out with 18 pts over Zughdi Adikary also on 18 pts and Eugene Snyman 4th on 17 pts.

The Saturday 25 and Sunday, February 26 Feb Northern Cape Open played over 54 holes, saw hot golf over two even hotter days. The championship went down to the wire with Henk Visser and Joshua Edwards tied with one hole, the 18th, to play. Henk prevailed with a birdie to win on -4 with Joshua Edwards 2nd on -3 and Darian Fortune 3rd. Well done to all competitors.

Friday, March 3: The EKAPA MINE golf day 9 holes from 1pm.

Saturday, March 4: The Beefmaster sponsored 18-hole IPS as well as the NC Seniors Championship 18-hole IPS.

Sunday, March 5: The second round of the NC Seniors Championships.

Monday, March 6: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, March 7: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, March 8: The DARSHA sponsored 18-hole IPS.

Thursday, March 9: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, March 10: The Sun Flamingo sponsored 9-hole IPS.

Saturday, March 11: The Northern Cape Amateur Open over 36 holes.

Sunday, March 12: Social golf with special rates applying

Monday, March 13: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, March 14: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, March 15: The OBC Chicken sponsored 18-hole IPS.

Thursday, March 16: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, March 17: The Sun Flamingo sponsored 9-hole IPS.

Saturday, March 18: The KGC Club Championships over 36 holes.
