Kimberley Golf Club results for the week of February 7 to 10 and a look ahead to the period of February 16 to 25.

Results for the week of February 7 to 10 2024 are:

The February 7 KONICA MINOLTA sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Harry Welham with 42pts. Second was Phillip Maritz on 39pts with Siewert Wiid 3rd on 38pts. Fourth was Gavin van Zyl with 37pts.

The Thursday, February 8 KWV Niner was won by Neville Alexander with 26pts. Second was Braam Botes on 24pts and Ant Crozier 3rd with 21pts.

The Friday, February 9 Flamingo Niner was won by Donald Whitebooi with 21pts on a count-out over Gavin Williams also with the same score. Ronnie Engelbrecht was third on 18pts also on a count-out over Ricky Joseph also on 18pts.

The Saturday, February 10 Freddie Tait fund-raiser 18-hole BBS was won by Deon Kotze and Johan Herselman with 47pts. Second was Ghalid Norman and Cedric van der Ross with 44pts and 3rd Jannie vd Westhuizen and Johan Liebenberg on 43pts.

The day ended with a well-supported 10m putting competition using the 125-year-old Freddie Tait putter. Only two – Johan Liebenberg and Nigel Page managed to sink the ball and walk away with a substantial prize.

Deon and Johan also took the Charlies prize.

Saturday, February 17: Standard Bank Pairs 18-hole BBS and the weekly Charlies outing

Sunday, February 18: Junior Series, Social golf with special rates applying

Monday, February 19: Course closed but office open for business.

Tuesday, February 20: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, February 21: Armed Forces Day and the OBC sponsored 18-hole IPS

Thursday, February 22: KWV sponsored Niner with power play options.

Friday, February 23: Flamingo Niner

Saturday, February 24: Club 18-hole IPS, start of New Vaal sponsored Race to Fancourt competition and the weekly Charlies outing

Sunday, February 25: Social golf with special rates applying
