Kimberley Golf Club results February 1-4 and what’s happening from February 10-26.

Results from the Kimberley Golf Club for the week of February 1-4 are:

The Wednesday, February 1 Darsha sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Jacques Gouws on 34 pts with Jason Barnes 2nd on 33 pts and Harry Welham 3rd on 32 pts.

The Thursday, February 2 KWV sponsored 9-hole IPS with power play options was won by André Williams on 23 pts on a count-out over Kareem Anderson on the same score with Ant Crozier 3rd on22 pts also on a count-out.

The Friday, February 3 Flamingo Sun 9-hole IPS was won by Donald Witbooi on 19 pts with Zayhied Suliman 2nd on 18 pts and Neville Parker 3rd on 16 pts on a count-out.

The Saturday, February 4 KGC BBS competition was won by Cedric vd Ross and Ghalid Norman on 44 pts with Neville Parker and Eddie Malouly 2nd on 42 pts on a count-out over Willie Delport and Werner Herselman 3rd also on 42 pts.

The Charlies cake and money was taken by Willie and Werner.

The well-supported Diamantveld School Diamond Cup BBS was won by Barend Burger and Stephan Le Roux on 44 pts on a count-out over Jaco Delport and Wian Steynberg also on 44 pts with Jaco van Heerden and Peter Buckle 3rd also on a count-out on 44 pts.

Fourth was Paul Kok and Adam Barnard on 43 pts on a count-out over Johan Mouton and Jaydee Diedericks also on 43 also on a count-out.

Tight golf with lots of count-outs. Well done all.

Saturday, February 11: The Second Round of Windhoek Pairs as well as the weekly Charlies and monthly Seniors outings.

Sunday, February 12: Social golf with special rates applying.

Monday, February 13: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, February 14: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, February 15: The OBC sponsored 18-hole IPS competition

Thursday, February 16: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, February 17: The ELCON School Golf Day.

Saturday, February 18: The Third Round of the Windhoek Pairs BBS as well as the weekly Charlies outing.

Sunday, February 19: Social golf with special rates applying.

Monday, February 20: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, February 21: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, February 22: The John Dory’s sponsored 18-hole IPS.

Thursday, February 23: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, February 24: The ELCON Golf Day.

Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26: The NORTHERN CAPE OPEN.
