Results for the week of July 26 to 29 are:

The Wednesday, July 26 John Dory’s-sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Ronnie Engelbrecht on 38pts with Gavin Schafer 2nd on 37pts on a count-out over Fuad Mahri also on 37.

The Thursday, July 27 KWV-sponsored 9-hole IPS with power play options was won by Johan Herselman on 28pts with Shane Arthur 2nd on 24pts on a count-out over MO Suliman also on 24pts.

The Friday, July 28 Flamingo Niner was won by Ronnie Engelbrecht on 20pts with William Wepener 2nd on 19pts. Third was Parks Mashabao on 18pts and 4th was Andries Kori on 14pts.

A few brave souls turned out for the freezingly cold Saturday, July 29 KGC-sponsored 18-hole IPS. The day was won by Neville Parker on 37pts with Pat Ansley 2nd on 36pts and Jacques Gouws 3rd on 24pts. Pat also won the Charlies game.

Sunday, July 30 saw the next round of the Sunday league also played in bitterly cold weather. Results are pending.

The following is planned for August 4 to 16

Players please note that you must putt out in a competition else your score will not count and that your score card must be correctly filled in.

Friday, August 4: Flamingo Niner.

Saturday, August 5: New Vaal Mercedes sponsored Club Fund-raiser. BBS with mystery scoring on certain holes. Also the monthly Seniors outing with BBs format as well as the weekly Charlies outing.

Sunday, August 6: Social golf.

Monday, August 7: Course closed but office open for business.

Tuesday, August 8: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, August 9: Women’s Day Golf competition. IPS over 18 holes. Many prizes. All welcome.

Thursday, August 10: Kidney Golf Day.

Friday, August 11: Northern Cape Cricket Golf Day.

Saturday, August 15: Club IPS competition and the weekly Charlies outing.

Sunday, August 16: Social golf.

Monday, August 17: Course closed but office open for business.
