Quinton Schaeffer and Barend Burger each posted a net 73 to finish first and second respectively in Wednesday’s Individual Net Medal

Saturday’s BB Bonus Bogey saw a count-out on +9 placing Johan and Joanie Herselman first and Darian Fortune and Brad de Beer second.

The final prize, also on a count-out, went to Donathon Jennings and Conrad van Bosch on +8.

A near record 38 players entered the Friday Sun Flamingo Niner competition.

A score of 20 points and a count-out of 13 deemed Peter Salo the winner. Donald Whitebooi was the runner-up on the same score. Three players followed on 19 points – Luchmen Poonawassy, Joanie Herselman and Parks Mashabao.

The Thursday KWV Powerplay Niner saw two six pointers give Dries Mostert the edge over Keith Brown who posted a single six pointer. Both players returned 22 points. Kevin Wakeford, also with six pointer to his credit, was third on 21 points.

The Coming Week:

On Wednesday the competition to look out for is the Red Tee Challenge. Thursday will be the day for the KWV Powerplay Niner.

On Friday it is the Sun Flamingo Niner and R1 300 snowball draw; and Saturday sees Workwear Depot return to sponsor the annual New Year’ s Cup, an IPS with over R6 000 worth of prizes.
