Football Clubs United Rovers from De Aar and Upington’s Hungry Lions respectively sit at the top of the dual stream ABC Motsepe league logs as the conference draws to a close.

In the inland stream, where Rovers are in the lead, all the teams have completed the full quota of 12 games, bar the home and away game against the expelled William Pescod Athletic from Kimberley.

The inland stream played only 12 games as William Pescod have been dropped from the conference for flouting the league’s governing rules. The club missed three separate fixtures and for this reason was expelled earlier this year.

Kuruman’s Maruping United hold up the bottom part of the inland log with a mere five points to their name after 13 outings. Maruping will play against Kakamas Juventus to complete their season.

Meanwhile, in Upington Hungry Lions took the lead in the league with a six-point cushion over runners-up Tornado who stand at 24 points after 14 games.

On that side of the dual stream log Kakamas based Olympic and Tsantsabane Stars prop up the bottom with 14 points apiece.
