Van Vuuren, Olivier end 2018 on a high at KGC

Saturday’s Better Ball Stableford had Jan van Vuuren and Wayne Olivier ring out 2018 on a high, not only 51 betterball points, but, also a personal best gross by the former.

Kariem Anderson and Zunaid Mobara were second on 47 points, Trevor Matsheke and Clive Korope third on 46 points.

A gross 34 for 24 points saw Clive Korope claim the final 2018 Sun Flamingo Niner.

Parks Mashabao (21) and Mietie Aysen (20), Ronnie Engelbrecht (19) and LJ Thomane (19) were the remaining prize winners.

A count out on 27 points placed Allan Meyers first and Willie Uys second in the Thursday KWV Powerplay Niner. Francois Schwartz was third on 23.

A net level par 36 points placed Peter Jansen first in the Wednesday IPS. LJ Thomane was the runner up on 33 points.


Today the KWV Niner takes place and tomorrow the Sun Flamingo Niner and snowball draw.

On Saturday there is a Club IPS.
