NC Professionals are still in the top spot of the league table after a convincing win over the weekend.

ABC MOTSEPE League title hopefuls NC Professionals of Olifantshoek took a leap forward on Saturday afternoon in the West Stream of the league when they clobbered Kakamas Sundowns 7-0 at the Langverwacht stadium in an ABC Motsepe League tussle.

The win consolidates NC Pros’ hold on the top spot for the third week running.

Fellow league title hopefuls Upington City FC also strengthened their grip on the second spot with a 2-0 win over Kakamas Juventus at home in Upington.

Meanwhile, Olifantshoek Sporting FC gained the three match points for defeating Mainstay United 2-0 at the Ditloung Stadium in Olifantshoek on Saturday while Olympics FC lifted their team morale with a 2-0 win over Olifantshoek Young Stars.

In the South Stream, NC Liverpool and Colville United played to a goalless draw on Saturday in a match that will see both sides improve their log positions ever so slightly.

Kuruman Kicks and Kimberley’s Real Madrid for their part added a goal each to their scoreline on Saturday when they met in the inland stream of the ABC Motsepe League. Tsantsabane Stars and De Aar’s United Rovers displayed no appetite for the nets and instead played to a goalless draw as well.

In the fourth match of the weekend in the inland stream Rasta Fa Eagles smoked Zoo Movement FC 2-1 in the last encounter for the day in the ABC Motsepe League clash of the weekend.
