The Coca-Cola Khaya Majola Under-19 week is the tournament that all young cricketers dream of taking part in.This is where the country’s future stars show the skills they have learned over all the years of playing schools cricket.
The top provinces take part and the competition is extremely tough with a strength vs strength format. One of the main attractions about competing is that if players perform exceptionally well here, there is the possibility of being selected for the SA Schools side or the Schools Colts team.
The top performers in those chosen teams also stand a good chance of being chosen for the SA Under-19 squad and from there on a young player’s cricket career can only go on to bigger things
