Windhoek Draught Park will be the preferred venue for the team for the duration of their home games in the ABC Motsepe League.

HUNGRY Lions FC will, on Tuesday afternoon, meet Venda FC in a 3.30pm kick off in the first of four ABC Motsepe League matches the team will play at Kimberley’s Windhoek Draught Park.

Hungry Lions representative Denzil Baitsomedi released the club’s set of fixtures indicating that Windhoek Draught Park will be the preferred venue for the team for the duration of their home games in the ABC Motsepe League.

After Tuesday afternoon’s match in Kimberley, Hungry Lions will next take the field at the same venue against Baroka FC on Saturday, October 15 in a match starting at 3.30pm.

The venue switch from their official home turf, namely the Sivos Training centre in Kathu, was earlier explained by Baitsomedi as part of the club’s effort to grow its fan base in especially the eastern part of the Northern Cape province.

On October 22, Hungry Lions will honour an away game against Magesi FC who they will take on at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Hungry Lions will return to Kimberley on October 26 to tackle Pretoria University in a match set down for 3.30pm.

Hungry Lions fourth and last fixture in the Diamond City is scheduled for Sunday October 30, against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) at the Windhoek Draught Park Stadium in a match starting at 3.30pm.

Fans and followers of the club may purchase entry tickets at the stadium gates.
