The results from the Kimberley Golf Club for the week of November 14-19 are as follows:

The Wednesday OBC Chicken sponsored 18 hole IPS was won by Willie Delport on 38 pts on a count-out over J Moholowane also on 38. Third was Barend Burger on 36 pts on a count-out over Harry Welham also on 36.

The Thursday KWV Niner was won by Kevin Antill on 25 pts with Ant Crozier 2nd on 22 pts on a count-out over Johan Herselman also on 22 pts.

The Friday Flamingo casino Niner was won by Bernie Turton on 21 pts with Jaco Janse 2nd on 20 pts on a count-out over Kareem Anderson with Susie Alexander 4th on 19 pts.

The Saturday Charlies outing was won by Jock Robey with 38 pts.

The following is planned for November 25 to December 4

• Players please note that you must putt out in a competition else your score will not count, and that your score card must be correctly filled in.

Friday, November 25: The Flamingo casino Niner with special rates if teeing off before 11am. Ekapa team

Saturday, November 26: The KGC IPS competition as well as the Seniors and Ladies playing for the Cleopatra Cup. Teams of a lady and a gent play BBS IPS over 18 holes. A small function will be held afterwards.

Sunday, November 27: Social golf with special rates applying.

Monday, November 28: Course closed as usual but the office is open for business.

Tuesday, November 29: Social golf with special rates applying.

Wednesday, November 30: The Barend Burger’s sponsored 18 hole IPS competition

Thursday, December 1: The KWV sponsored Niner.

Friday, December 2: The New Vaal Mercedes sponsored KGCS 18-hole IPS competition.

Saturday, December 3: The Airport Hotel, Horseshoe Motel and Kalahari Lodge sponsored 18 hole IPS competition as well as the weekly Charlies outing.

Sunday, December 4: Social golf with special rates applying.

It is with a heavy heart to bid farewell to a great friend and supporter of the KGC – Herbie Woodbridge. Herbie passed away the morning of November 23. The Kimberley Golf Club sends sincere condolences to his family. He was well loved by all.
