A count-out on 39 points deemed Francois Schwartz first and Eddie Barkhuizen second in the annual Stepping Stones Pre-Primary School Golf Fund-raiser, an IPS at the weekend.

Three players followed on 38 points; Alan Doherty, Buck Venter and Wade King. Adrian McLaren was sixth on 37 points.

The Friday Sun Flamingo Meat Niner results were particularly competitive despite a limited entry.

A level par 36 for 22 points had Alan Meyers first. Bernie Turton and Jody van Wyk were second and third, each on 21 points.

Wade King and Neville Alexander were fourth and fifth, each on 20 points.

The Thursday KWV Powerplay Niner saw Ant Crozier the winner on 21 points, a big six at the 7th. Dave Wilson (19) and Meyer Meintjies (15) were second and third.

This week the Club hosts a Wednesday Shotgun start at 12 noon tomorrow.

On Thursday it is the KWV Powerplay Niner, and then on Friday it is the Sun Flamingo Meat Niner followed by the snowball draw. On Saturday the Club will host a Betterball Bonus Bogey.
