FORMER women’s soccer player, sports influencer, and mentor Brenda Mafunisa is out to change the world. Her most recent project, the ‘Thousand Soccer Boots and Sanitary Pad Campaign for the Northern Cape Province’, aims to give youngsters in the area the tools they need to succeed in sports while also giving girls who play sports comfort and dignity.

Any organised team players at any level in the Northern Cape province are eligible to profit from this campaign, however coaches or team managers must submit a one-page motivation letter and profile of the deserving athlete via Mafunisa’s Facebook (Brenda Mafunisa) or Instagram handle (Brenda_Mafunisa).

Visit dates will be posted on Mafunisa’s social media platforms, and she asks potential sponsors to partner with her in this worthy cause.

Mafunisa also extended an invitation to both male and female professional players to contribute new or used pairs of shoes to the cause before the campaign’s deadline of July 31.
