Northern Cape Cricket yesterday extended the Association’s heartiest congratulations to their senior provincial captain, Aubrey Swanepoel, who played his 100th List A game for the Province at the weekend.
“It is a massive achievement that he has now played 112 first-class games and 100 List A games for one province,” said the press release.
“This serves to show what a loyal servant he is to Northern Cape Cricket, his dedication and commitment is second to none. In his illustrious career he has also captained the team for many seasons. Aubrey is a good example of a four-in-one player as captain, batsman, off-spin bowler and an exceptional fielder.”
The highlights of Swanepoel’s career thus far remains captaining the South African Sixes side in Hong Kong and also playing in the South African Under-19 team.
