On Saturday at the Kimberley Golf Club the members were introduced to a Milnerton Mix, betterball medal (net) on holes 1-9 and betterball stableford on holes 10-18. The stableford score was deducted from the medal score to determine the result, the lower the score the better.

The top three scores were five, six and seven. First was Jasper Kroep and Alisdair MacKenzie who posted a net 30 in the medal, less 25 stableford points.

Frits van Dyk and Pierre de Klerk were second after a 29 net in the medal and 23 stableford points. Jackie Beukes and Ghaalid Norman were third, a 29 net in the medal and 22 stableford points.

Each betterball had at least one player who was well under net par for the day. (For those who cannot relate to the results they were equivalent to a 49, 48 and 47 betterball).

Jody van Wyk posted the winning score in the Friday Sun Flamingo Niner, 21 points.

Thabang Sibono and Nick Sonqishe were second and third on 19 points, with Zayhied Sulliman and Zunaid Mobara fourth and fifth on 18 points.
