BOXING fans in Kimberley are preparing for a mouthwatering knockout event this Saturday when Platinum Boxing and Fitness will host their highly-anticipated local amateur boxing tournament.

This tournament promises to be a thrilling sporting spectacle that will see a gathering of boxers and boxing enthusiasts from all over the Northern Cape and beyond, as clubs from various provinces square off in an exhibition of their fighters’ pugilistic prowess and sportsmanship.

The tournament will feature a collection of top-notch boxing clubs, each eager to present their most promising talents as they battle it out to secure bragging rights and rule the roost.

Clubs such as Springs Boxing Club, New Champions Boxing Club, Freedom Boxing Club, Home Defenders Boxing Club, Galeshewe Boxing Club, Welkom Boxing Club, Postmasburg Boxing Club, and Britstown Boxing Club will descend on the Ekapa Mine’s Health and Occupation Centre in Molyneaux Road for the contest that kicks off at noon.

Fans can expect an electrifying display of boxing skills and a spirited competition that highlights the dedication and hard work of these athletes.
