Established in February 2014, Roodepan Masters FC has been a prominent member of the Sol Plaatje Masters Football League, navigating both triumphs and challenges under the stewardship of past chairman Koos Kampher and current chairman Ralph Oerson.

In their inaugural season, the club achieved an impressive feat by clinching the treble in 2014, emerging victorious in the Easter Tournament, Avbob Cup, and Rihanna Cup.

However, the club faced a setback in the 2023 season, marking their worst performance in a decade. Despite this hiccup, their determination remains unshaken as they strive to reclaim their position at the top of the league standings.

Beyond the pitch, Roodepan Masters is deeply committed to social responsibility.

Despite falling short of their target last season, the club remains steadfast in their pledge to engage in at least two community projects per season. This year, they are doubling their efforts to make a positive impact. Their commitment includes supporting local initiatives such as Pescodia Soccer Graduates and adopting a women’s team affiliated with the local LFA.

Chairman Ralph Oerson expressed his gratitude to all who have supported the club over the past decade, commending the players for their unwavering dedication through both triumphs and challenges. Looking ahead, Oerson emphasised the importance of unity as the club continues its contributions to the community.

Now, as Roodepan Masters gears up for their 10th-year celebration, Oerson extends a warm invitation to loyal supporters to join in the festivities at the Roman Catholic Hall in Roodepan on Saturday, February 24th, at 5pm.

Additionally, the club welcomes any additional sponsors who wish to contribute to the event. For those interested in supporting or participating, they can reach out to Ralph Oerson at 0813544000 or Eugene vd Merwe at 0820959241 for further details.
