THE ANC Youth League (ANCYL) in Ward 1 Kenneth Mojela Branch donated building material to a family as part of its Letsema programme.

The programme is part of the league’s effort to improve the lives of people in its communities.

The Letsema programme was launched by the ANC after doing a thorough analysis on what the movement has achieved since its formation, as well as how best the organisation can improve where necessary.

It was through understanding the material conditions that surrounds its people, and the primary objectives of the ANCYL as the youth wing of the ANC, that the branch organised itself to try and meet the objective.

The members donated the building materials to a family in their jurisdiction as part of supporting the Letsema programme.

The programme was attended by the ANCYL Frances Baard regional secretary, Sonia Bosman, the the ANC Frances Baard regional spokesperson, Tshepo Sedukanelo Louw, as guest speakers.

Bosman highlighted the importance of adding value to the ANC as the Youth League.

“It is important to make sure that we realise our potential and start adding more value to the ANC,” said Bosman.
