Vilakazi sisters bring home crowns from Miss Teen pageant

Unamandla Vilakazi, 14, and her sister Manqoba Vilakazi, 12, made the Northern Cape proud when they were both crowned at the prestigious Miss Teen Universe South Africa pageant.

UNAMANDLA Vilakazi, 14, and her sister Manqoba Vilakazi, 12, made the Northern Cape proud when they were both crowned at the prestigious Miss Teen Universe South Africa pageant.

The glamorous event was hosted at Sun Sibaya Izulu Theatre in Durban on Sunday.

Unamandla walked away with the crown of Miss Teen Mundial 2023.

She has been running several projects at Dr EP Lekhela High School in Kimberley under the Unamandla Foundation since 2022.

‘Mundial’ is a Spanish word meaning ‘world’.

Unamandla will be representing South Africa at an international platform for which the host country will still be announced.

Manqoba was crowned the first ever Miss Pre-Teen Universe South Africa

2023 and will be representing South Africa at the Miss Pre-Teen Universe pageant in Colombia in August.
