Upington police seek help finding missing man

The Upington police have appealed to the public for help in locating a 29-year-old man from Louisvaleweg who has been reported missing.

THE UPINGTON police have appealed to the public for help in locating 29-year-old Shewan Cherman van Staden from Louisvaleweg, who has been reported missing.

Northern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Omphile Masegela stated that Van Staden was last seen on August 27 in Leseding, where he was visiting his aunt. He never returned home.

At the time of his disappearance, Van Staden was wearing a purple jacket and blue denim pants.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Tsaone Motshwari, at 082 495 4615 or 054 337 3435.

Masegela also reminded the public that there is no waiting period to report a person missing.
