Two suspected drug dealers to appear in court

Two suspected drug dealers are expected to appear before the Petrusville Periodical Court on Monday.

TWO SUSPECTED drug dealers are expected to appear before the Petrusville Periodical Court on Monday, July 18.

The Northern Cape Hawks said the pair, who are aged 40 and 58 respectively, were arrested on Friday, July 15.

Hawks provincial spokesperson Captain Tebogo Thebe said the suspects were arrested during a multi-disciplinary operation.

“A multi-disciplinary operation by the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks), Provincial Crime Intelligence, De Aar Crime Prevention, the Local Crime Record Centre and the K9 unit resulted in an arrest of two suspects. The duo were found with tik, dagga and cash to the value of R1,101. The police further seized drug packaging material and two cellphones,” said Thebe.

“The investigation continues.”
