Tik seized during police raid in Keimoes

DRUGS with an estimated street value of R45,000 were confiscated by the police from a residence in Keimoes on Monday, September 20.

Upington SAPS corporate communication spokesperson Sergeant Omphile Masegela said on Tuesday that members of the Crime Prevention unit, under the command of Sergeant George Dreyer, followed up on information relating to an alleged stash of drugs at a residence in Gammakor in Keimoes.

“The members searched the premises and found 199.8 grams of tik. A 43-year-old man was arrested and is expected to appear in court soon,” said Masegela.
