THREE men were arrested after they were found in possession of sheep carcasses and meat that was suspected to be stolen.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock said on Tuesday the carcasses were seized by the police in Marydale, who were investigating stock theft in the area.
“The three suspects were found in possession of alleged stolen stock/products after sheep carcasses and meat were found at their premises in Marydale,” said Kock.
He added that the suspects were expected to appear in the Marydale Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of possession of suspected stolen stock/products.
“The investigation continues.”
